Dr. Zhou is a Professor of Surgery and Division Chief of Vascular Surgery at University of Arizona. She is also the co-director of the Southern Arizona Limb Salvage Alliance. She moved to Arizona in 2017 after completing her 10-year career at Stanford University as a Professor of Surgery and Section Chief of Vascular Surgery at VA Palo Alto Heath Care. She also worked at Baylor College of Medicine after completing her vascular surgery fellowship in 2005.
Dr. Zhou's main reserach interest are carotid disease and cognitive funtinon with over 150 peer-reviewed publications. She is also a PI for over 30 clinical trials and her research has been funded by NIH, AHA, ACS, and VA Merit. Her clinical focus are aortic pathology and limb salvage.
