President
DeHaan Center for Medical Innovation
Longboat Key, Florida, United States
I recently retired from Clinical Practice, having served as the Director of Research for Advanced Imaging at the Minneapolis Heart Institute and Foundation, Minneapolis, MN. My experiences in Vascular Biology and Vascular Devices with their interactions in the Coronary and Peripheral arteries has extended over the past 30 years with more than 200 publications, many lectures, and over 60 patents. I led the effort to develop the now-standard porcine model of restenosis, delineating and quantitating the vascular response to injury.
I am now very active in Innovation, invention, and new device/technology design, development, and timplementation. I also serve as President of the Jon DeHaan Foundation, a non-profite dedicated to promoting innovations in Clinical Cardiology
