Dr. Binita Shah was awarded her MD and a Masters of Science in Clinical Investigation from NYU School of Medicine. She is Co-Director of Research for NYU Langone Heart and Associate Director of Interventional Cardiology at the Manhattan VA Hospital. Dr. Shah conducts federally-funded clinical translational research with a focus on inflammation and cardiovscular disease. She served as the PI of the VA-funded Colchicine-PCI trial and the NIH-funded US arm of the ColCorona trial. She's currently PI of the NIH-funded CLEAR SYNERGY Biomarker Substudy and VA-funded POPCORN trial. Dr. Shah also serves as a board of trustees member for SCAI and an associate editor for Circulation Cardiovascular Interventions.
