Ibrahim Sultan is the Surgical Director of the Center for Heart Valve Disease, Structural Heart Program, and the Director of the Center for Thoracic Aortic Disease at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh. He has published over 400 peer reviewed articles and presented over 200 invited talks. He is funded by the Department of Defense, has been an investigator in multiple clinical trials and serves on the editorial boards for Circulation: Imaging, Journal for Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, and Annals of Thoracic Surgery. His clinical and scholarly focus is on the thoracic aorta and structural heart therapies.
