Dr. Deepak Talreja is medical director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital serves on the faculty of Eastern Virginia Medical School and routinely participates in medical research and lectures throughout the region. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine, interventional cardiology, echocardiography and preventative cardiology and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Talreja concentrates on the diagnosis and treatment of structural heart and valve disease and complex coronary artery disease. Dr. Talreja was on the team that was the first in the region to perform transcatheter aortic valve replacement and has helped develop the structural heart program at Sentara Heart Hospital. He is a member and a leader of the Sentara Cardiology Specialists Group.
