Dr. Tanveer Rab is a Professor of Medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He trained at Emory University and is Board Certified in Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Society of Coronary Angiography and Interventions.
Dr. Rab is the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization laboratory and Director of Interventional Cardiology at Emory Decatur Hospital.
He serves on the joint ACC/AHA guidelines writing committee, Communications Committee and Bifurcation club of SCAI and the ABIM examinations writing committee for Interventional Cardiology. He is the host of the monthly webinars for the SCAI Bifurcation Club.
Dr. Rab is a high-volume complex PCI operator with published clinical research interests in Left Main and coronary bifurcation interventions, coronary atherectomy procedures, cardiac arrest and cardiogenic shock.
