Michael Lim has been an interventional cardiologist for over 20 years. He was part of the planning as well as an active investigator in the FAME trial, a member of the clinical event committee of the FAME-2 trial, as well as an author and teacher of physiologic techniques to assess the evaluation of intracoronary lesions. More recently, he has been a participant in the PROTECT IV trial for hemodynamic support and the STEMI-DTU trial for improved care of patients presenting with large ST-segment-elevation myocardial infartions. Dr. Lim has also been an advocate of improved care for patients with cardiogenic shock, participating in the National Cardiogenic Shock Initiative. He is the co-editor of Hemodynamic Rounnds, Kern's Cardiac Catheterization Handbook, and The Interventional Cardiology Handbook as well as the author of numberous peer-reviewed original publications and book chapters.
