Dr. Hani Jneid is a Professor of Medicine & Chief of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Univ of Texas Medical Branch, the Medical Director of Cardiovascular Care Line & the John Sealy Distinguished Centennial Chair in Cardiology. He is a practicing interventional cardiologist w expertise in complex PC & TAVI. His research interests include ACS, SIHD, revascularization, TAVI and outcomes research, & has published > 405 peer-reviewed publications. He is the recipient of several regional & national awards including a Medal of Service for Clinical Care of Veteran Patients at the DeBakey VAMC in 2016, the 2021 Star Award for Excellence at Baylor, & the 2021 national Gifted Educator Award by the American College of Cardiology. He has chaired / participated in several ACC/AHA national guidelines and performance measure documents, including ACC/AHA Guidelines for ACS, valvular heart disease & chest pain.
