Dr. Arnav Kumar is an interventional cardiologist with the Houston Heart-TMC Medical Center. He completed a two-year interventional cardiology fellowship at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. His clinical focus includes high-risk PCIs, imaging and physiology-guided revascularization, and catheterization-based techniques for complex valvular and structural heart conditions.
His research centers around mathematical and computational fluid dynamic modeling to understand vulnerable atherosclerotic plaques. He was been honored with The William Parmley Young Author Achievement Award from the ACC. Over the last five years, he authored more than 200 manuscripts, abstracts, and book chapters.
Dr. Kumar has held leadership roles in ACC, SCAI, and SCCT. He regularly reviews manuscripts for high-impact journals.
