Leonardo Clavijo, MD, PhD, is an interventional cardiologist in San Luis Obispo, California. He has extensive experience in performing complex cardiac coronary and structural interventions and non-surgical endovascular techniques for the treatment of peripheral arterial disease and critical limb ischemia. He completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, and vascular medicine & peripheral interventions at Georgetown University Hospital/Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC. Dr. Clavijo was for 15 years director of the interventional cardiology fellowship program at the University of Southern California and recently moved to the Central Coast in California.
