He is an interventional cardiologist with over 25 years of clinical experience. He is Chief Medical Officer at Baim Institute for Clinical Research where his research is related to design and outcomes of clinical trials of coronary, structural, and peripheral vascular intervention. He co-founded the Academic Research Consortium, which has promoted standardization of endpoints and clinical trial methods for cardiac device clinical trials.
