Dr. Mohammad (Mac) Ansari is a Vice Chair (Clinical Research) in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He also serves as the Director of Cardiac Cath Lab & Structural Heart Program. He is an interventional cardiologist with advance training in Structural Heart Disease and Advance Vascular & Endovascular Interventions. His research interest include complex coronary and peripheral vascular Interventions, newer atherectomy and thrombectomy devices, DCB's, Bioabsorbable scaffolds, TAVR, EVAR, Structural Heart Imaging, 3D printing and closure devices. He is also actively involved in many educational training programs for fellows and early career cardiologist. He is the founder of the TTUHSC PAD Center of Excellence which is actively involved in clinical, research and educational activities.
