Susheel K. Kodali, MD is the Director of the Structural Heart & Valve Center at NY-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. He is also the Avanessians Professor in Medicine at Columbia University. After obtaining a B.S. in Biology from Stanford University, he attended medical school at The University of California, LA. He subsequently did his residency and a fellowship program in clinical cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco, and a fellowship program in interventional cardiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.
Since joining the faculty at Columbia University in 2004, he has focused his clinical and research activities in the arena of structural heart disease. He has authored multiple publications in the area of transcatheter aortic valve replacement including the initial studies describing the early experience with TAVR in the U.S.
