Dionne Ross, MSN, RN, NE-BC is the Nursing Director for the MedStar Heart and Vascular Institutes Cardiac Catheterization Lab at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. She is an RN with over 24 years of nursing experience, 19 of those years in leadership with a focus in cardiovascular services. She also has years of experience in capacity management and has served on the hospitals board of directors respresenting nurses. She is always focused on interdisciplinary engagement and collaboration and was instrumental in implementing the (SSTAVR) Short Stay TAVR initiave to reduce ICU LOS. During the peak of COVID-19, she led the Redeployment Center to assist with the redeploying of associates. She is a founder member of the Black Nurse Collaborative (BNC), a movement of trailblazing nurses committed to doing the work in communities to transform the way nurses show up to do nursing. She is the founder/CEO of Luminary Scrubs.
