Dr. Itsik Ben-Dor is Associate Professor Georgetown University, Program Director Interventional Cardiology Fellowship and Associate Director Medstar Washington Hospital Center Cardiac Cath Labs
Dr. Ben-Dor earned his medical degree from Technion Israeli Institute of Technology, attended both a residency in Internal Medicine and Cardiology fellowship at Rabin Medical Center.
He then trained at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Interventional and Structural Heart Disease. Besides an extensive education, Dr. Ben-Dor has published over 320 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals in relation to research in Intravascular Ultrasound, Fractional Flow Reserve, and Aortic and Mitral Valve Disease.
Dr. Ben-Dor practice specialties include: Percutaneous Coronary Intervention, Balloon Aortic and Mitral Valvulorplasty, Transcatheter Aortic and mitral Valve Implantation, Mitral edge to edge repair.
