Dr. Abhishek Chaturvedi is an Interventional Cardiology Fellow at the Georgetown University MedStar Washington Hospital Center. He completed his medical school in India and moved to the United States for a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Maryland. He subsequently completed his Internal Medicine training at the Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Cardiology fellowship at VCU School of Medicine, Richmond, Virginia. His research interests include acute coronary syndrome, cardiogenic shock, mechanica circulatory support, intravascular coronary imaging and physiologic evaluation of coronary artery disease.
