Dr. M Reza Movahed was trained at the Yale University in 2000.He is Clinical Prof. of Med. at the U of A, Tucson and U of A, Phoenix. He was Director of Cardiac Cath and Nuclear Card Labs at the UCI and Director of CCU and Med Director of Card Transplant at the U o A He was CareMore Regional Card Director. He is renowned for his so called “The Movahed Coronary Bifurcation Classification” and known for his discovery on the flattening of interventricular septum as a sign for right ventricular overload the “ Movahed’s sign” He is also known for reverse “Movahed Maneuver” that can be used for stent deliverability in tortuous vein grafts. He patent for contrast removal device and a device that can measure cross sectional lumen of a vessel. He has over 300 peer reviewed publications He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, Advanced Heart failure/Transplant, Nuc Card and Interventional cardiology.
