Dr. Ting-Yu Wang is a second-year General Cardiology Fellow in the Division of Cardiovascular Diseases at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California. She is inspired by the unique challenges inherent to caring for patients with complex coronary and structural diseases, as well as the rapidly-advancing and life-saving therapeutics available to these patients. Her research interest spans a wide spectrum within the field of Interventional Cardiology. She has authored multiple manuscripts examining TAVR outcomes, mentored by Dr. Puja Parikh at Stony Brook University Hospital, and is currently conducting retrospective studies in the coronary, Watchman, and TAVR realms, mentored by Drs. Curtiss Stinis, Matthew Price, and Paul Teirstein at Scripps Clinic. In her career as a future Interventional Cardiologist, she aspires to continue to contribute to the rapid advancement of cardiovascular medicine.
