Bobak Mosadegh received his B.S. and M.S. in biomedical engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and his Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Under the guidance of George M. Whitesides, Dr. Mosadegh performed his postdoctoral training at Harvard University and the Wyss Institute of Biologically Inspired Engineering. Dr. Mosadegh started as an Assistant Professor in the department of Radiology, at Weill Cornell Medicine, in Nov. of 2014, and is currently an Associate Professor and serves as the Director of the Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging and was the convener for the ISO working group on cardiac occluders. The Dalio Institute brings personalized medicine to cardiovascular devices by developing therapeutic and diagnostic tools designed using patient-specific imaging, extended reality, AI, and soft robotics.
