Armando Juarez, MD, is an interventional cardiologist. He graduated from the College of Medicine at St Nicholas of Hidalgo University in Michoacan Mexico (UMSNH) He completed his cardiology and interventional cardiology training at National Autonomus University of Mexico (UNAM). Dr. Juarez serves as Head of the Cath Lab at Specialty Hospital “La Raza” at the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS). He is an assistant professor of medicine at National Autonomus University of Mexico (UNAM) since 2012. His expertise on isquemic disease and structural heart disease includes transcatheter valve replacement, left atrial appendage, and atrial septal defect (ASD)/patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure. He is currently the Vicepresident of the Society of Interventional Cardiology of Mexico (SOCIME)
