Blake Richards is CEO of Elucid, a venture-backed, Boston-based software as a medical device (SaMD) company applying A.I. to non-invasive medical imaging to precisely diagnose cardiovascular disease and inform personalized treatment selection. Elucid is a SaaS platform that analyzes routine CT angiographies (CTAs) with patented algorithms to uniquely quantify atherosclerotic plaque validated against histopathology and derive ischemia (FFRCT). He was previously a management consultant in strategy for Deloitte, advising medical technology companies, payers, and providers. Prior to Deloitte, he was a revenue cycle and patient confidentiality leader for Epic Systems and consulted for several AI-driven MedTech start-ups. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS from Duke University.
