Asaad Nakhle was born in Damascus, Syria where he completed his medical training at Damascus University School of Medicine. He finished his Internal Medicine Residency training at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. He spent another year as a Chief Medical Resident at the same hospital. He then moved to New Orleans, LA to complete his Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology training at Tulane University. Finally, he returned to Henry Ford Hospital for his final year of training in complex high-risk coronary interventions and chronic total occlusions (CTO). He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Section of Cardiology at Tulane University.
