Dr. Hani Jneid is a Professor of Medicine & the Chief of the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch, the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Care Line & the John Sealy Distinguished Centennial Chair in Cardiology. He is a practicing interventional cardiologist w expertise in complex PCI. His research interests include ACS, SIHD, revascularization, TAVR, quality & outcomes research, & has published > 375 peer-reviewed publications. he is the recipient of several regional & national awards including a Medal of Service for Clinical Care of Veteran Patients at the DeBakey VAMC in 2016, the 2021 Star Award for Excellence at BCM, & the 2021 national Gifted Educator Award by the American College of Cardiology. He has chaired and participated in several ACC/AHA national guidelines and performance measure documents, including those for ACS, valvular heart disease, and chest pain.
