Dean J. Kereiakes, M.D., FACC, MSCAI is President and Medical Director of The Christ Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute and Professor of Clinical Medicine at Ohio State University. He was valedictorian of his graduating class at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. His postgraduate training was at the University of California, San Francisco and the Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Kereiakes has been national/international Principal Investigator for more than 20 novel technologies and has been involved in more than a dozen first human use therapies. He has published over 1,100 journal articles, abstracts and book chapters, has served as section Editor for Circulation and is currently Deputy Editor for the journal of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions.
