Dr. Hirai is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in University of Missouri in Columbia. He is one of the few formally trained operators in high-risk coronary interventions and chronic total occlusions (CTO) interventions. Dr. Hirai is passionate about helping this patient population and his research focus is on how to perform CTO intervention safely and efficiently for the patients. He is also well trained in robotic-assisted PCI.
