Dr. Mehmet Cilingiroglu is Professor of Medicine, Surgery and Biomedical Engineering at several Universities both in USA as well as in Europe. He is an interventional cardiologist and a well established structural heart interventionalis over 26 years of experience. His research interest is device development and multiple investigator initiated studies mainly in the area of intravascular imaging using optical coherence tomography, intravascular laser lithotripsy, structural heart interventions. Secured not one but many research fundings from NIH, Department of Defense, VA Merit as well as Investigator initiated clinical studies. Hold several US, Canadian, EU and Australian Patents. Love to teach and mentor the next generation of young leaders in the field.
