Dr. Coylewright is a research scientist, mentor, and clinical leader in interventional cardiology, and Director of the Structural Heart Program for Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, TN. As a clinical trialist, she serves as national PI for the interatrial shunt trial, FROST-HF, and is a leader for the moderate aortic stenosis trial, EXPAND TAVR II, as well as additional trials of left atrial appendage closure and transcatheter mitral interventions. As a committed teacher and international speaker, Dr. Coylewright has a clear passion for innovative health care delivery models that place patients at the center: many of her publications focus on shared decision making implementation. Her research also includes a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion, complimenting her role as Vice Chief of Cardiology for Faculty Development within southern Tennessee's only academic cardiovascular program.
