Michael A. Gaglia, Jr., MD, MSc, FACC, FSCAI is an interventional cardiologist and medical director for peripheral vascular disease at St. Clair Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. His clinical and research interests include percutaneous treatment of pulmonary embolism, critical limb threatening ischemia, and antiplatelet therapy for acute coronary syndromes. He has previously served as faculty at the University of Southern California and the University of New Mexico, and has also practiced with the Cardiovascular Institute of the South in New Orleans, LA. He has published over 70 peer reviewed journal articles and has also served as editor for the textbook Antiplatelet Therapy in Cardiovascular Disease.
